How To Hide Hard Drive Partition/Whole Hard Disk In Windows XP,7,8/8.1/10

Data Security is a very big issue nowadays.There is no guarantee for that is your data is secured or not.Today am going to tell you how you can hide your hard drive partition in Windows XP,7,8/8.1/10.With this trick, you can easily hide you data from outsiders.Hide hard drive partition windows in 8, windows 7,XP Or in Mac is very easy.You can easily manage this.

There is two type of methods.First one is without software and Second One is with the help of a software.

Without Software :

This Method is done with The CMD.You have to follow just some steps.
Step 1:Go to Start > Run > type “diskpart”.

A DOS window will appear with following commands.
Step 2: Then type “list volume”
Step 3: Suppose you want to hide drive E then type  “select volume 4
Then a message will appear in same window { Volume 4 is the selected volume}
Step 4: Now type “remove letter E”
Now a message will come { Diskpart Removed the Drive letter }
NOTE:
To access the content of hidden Drive repeat the process mentioned above. But in 4th step replace ” remove” by “assign”.
It means type “assign letter E”.

ANOTHER METHOD:

Go to Start > Run > type “gpedit.msc”>usernfiguration>administrative templates>windows components>windows explorer

Now double click on “Hide these specified drives in My Computer” modify it accordingly then just below you will find another option “Prevent access to drives from My Computer”, double-click on this option and modify it accordingly.
To make it visible again select “disable” by double clicking on the “Hide these specified drives in My Computer” option.
